Current Technologies
At present, we offer reproduction work generated on HP’s Z3100 platform, and Canon’s IPF 8300 platform as well. Each printer is a 12 ink system offering some of the best color ranges in the industry. Both platforms offer archival inks, and run rolls of media up to 44″ wide by 100 feet long.
The HP Z3100 is our primary canvas reproduction system at present. The newly added 8300 from Canon will be our Photo paper workhorse going forward. Clients are welcome to have proof pieces run on each machine to determine their preferences in reproduction quality. Frankly, both systems will run canvases that should stun clients!
Reproduction media
Our canvases and matte papers are all produced by Breathing Color. It’s the preferred stock for RL Charpentier Photography. Additionally we’ve now started carrying Red River’s Polar Pearl Metallic. It’s an appealing alternative to your standard gloss for photographers looking for an increased dynamic range.
